I’m super pumped about the upcoming Kia EV3! But I can’t help but wonder, what’s the real-world range gonna be like? They’re talking about 600 km (373 miles) based on WLTP testing, but I’m itching to see how it actually performs on the road.

And the charging time? Kia says it can zap from 10-80% in just 31 minutes - like, is that for real?

Yeah, it sounds exciting when you see it on paper. But we should already know that real-world range varies based on our driving habits, terrain, weather, blah, blah, you name it. The idea is, I wouldn't be surprised if the actual range ends up being a bit lower.
Regarding the charging speed, yes, that's pretty insane. Anyway, we still have some time for it to test and see.

That's true! Usually, the real-world range might be about 10-20% less than the WLTP figure, especially in mixed driving.
