I was considering the Kia EV as my first electric car but was disappointed to find that blind spot monitoring is only available on the higher-end GT S-Line model, which also includes a sunroof, a feature I don't want. It seems odd that such an important safety feature is tied to a specific, expensive trim and an unnecessary option. Why not offer a basic version of blind spot monitoring in the lower models, like a simple light on the wing mirror? It's pretty standard in many cars these days. For now, I'll be passing on this one. Anyone else feel the same way? Curious to hear your thoughts
